// Our Story

Dressed in
Intention

A boutique born from a love of craft, culture, and the quiet confidence a beautiful dress can give.

The Beginning

A boutique born from a single stitch

FashionBoutique began in a small studio in 2018 — a single sewing machine, a rack of hand-dyed fabrics, and an unwavering belief that local craftsmanship deserves a premium stage.

What started as weekend markets and word-of-mouth orders grew into a curated collection that now dresses women for their most meaningful moments — weddings, festivals, milestones, and quiet Sundays alike.

We are not a factory. We are a family of makers, dreamers, and fabric lovers who believe that getting dressed should feel like a ritual, not a chore.

The Founder

Meet Priya Sharma

"I grew up watching my mother drape a saree every morning like it was a meditation. That ritual — the care, the intention — is what I want every woman to feel when she wears something from our boutique."

Priya trained in textile design at NIFT Ahmedabad before spending three years apprenticing with master weavers in Banaras. She returned home with a notebook full of patterns, a heart full of stories, and a vision for a boutique that would honour Indian craft while speaking a modern aesthetic language.

Today, she personally oversees every collection — from the first sketch to the final fitting — ensuring that each piece carries the same love and precision she learned from the artisans who shaped her.

Our Philosophy

Craft is not a process. It is a promise.

Handpicked Fabrics

Every bolt of fabric is personally sourced from artisan weavers across Rajasthan, Varanasi, and Surat — chosen for texture, drape, and longevity.

Made-to-Measure

We believe every woman deserves a dress that fits her, not the other way around. Custom sizing is offered on all our signature pieces.

Slow Fashion

We produce in small batches, never mass-market. Each collection is limited, intentional, and crafted with care over weeks — not days.
